Supporting the Arts: Wilhelm Automotive, 8245 N.W. Grand Ave., a locally owned and family operated automotive repair and maintenance business, competed with other nominees for the prestigious Governor’s Art Award in the Corporate category. The company was nominated by Theater Works, a nonprofit community theater group located in Sun City, for the duration, depth and significance of its contributions to the nonprofit community theater. Partners in Community Service: The blustery weather didn’t stop the organizers of a vehicle inspection program at Heritage Palmeras Retirement Community in Sun City. Chris Garman, General Manager of Wilhelm Automotive, Jane Hamby, Director of Marketing for Heritage Palmeras, and Laurie Fox, Director of Marketing for Adultcare Assistance look at one of the classic vehicles on display at the event. The next free vehicle inspection program is Wednesday, March 23, 2005, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, at Chaparral Winds Retirement Community, 16617 West Point Parkway, Surprise.
